Partneship to provide TechAssist hosted managed services to Planet’s users.
The Planet, a privately held dedicated hosting company, today announced a new partnership for its Microsoft SBS Partner Program with managed services provider TechAssist. It states that with offices in Washington, D.C., and Pittsburgh, TechAssist will provide hosted managed services to their clients that include national associations, law firms, financial services companies and medical offices, all focused on providing professional services. It also states that in rankings out this week, MSP.Net — a media outlet that focuses on the managed services market — named TechAssist to its national list of the Top 100 Managed Services Providers.
The company explained that through its ‘True Technology Management’ services, TechAssist offers complete enterprise-class IT solutions for small- and medium-sized businesses, previously available only in large companies. It also brings together the monitoring and remote support of a managed services provider, the onsite support of an IT outsourcing company, and the strategic guidance of a technology consultant in one convenient, fixed-price plan, which can be scaled to fit any business.
“Our clients rely on TechAssist to provide solid, uninterrupted service around the clock,” said TechAssist CEO Nick Vossburg. “The Planet’s new Microsoft SBS partner program provides us with the applications our customers require, backed by its world-class network and data centers.”
“Our Microsoft SBS partner program was designed for companies like TechAssist that clearly understand the SMB market and the value of the managed services model,” said James P. Treuting, vice president of sales and operations with The Planet. “TechAssist provides its clients with services previously available only in enterprise-size organizations with big IT teams. Nick Vossburg and his team retain management and deliver value-added services to their clients, backed by our world-class network, data centers and support.”
