( webhosting.info )Upgrade consists addition of new servers, hardware, and recovery tools.

Gazzin.com, a reseller hosting provider, today announced that it has completed significant upgrades to its system infrastructure, with the addition of new servers, hardware, and recovery tools.

The company states that the upgrades have been in development for the past 6 months. It’s shared and VPS customers are now hosted on servers that feature enterprise level hardware, managed services, and 24/7 service monitoring, including HTTP, SMTP, and POP3. Further it explained that with the new servers, customers will be more easily able to upgrade and downgrade their hardware configuration. It offers an important advantage for small to medium sized business customers, whose hosting requirements change frequently.

The company avers that it has also introduced new recovery and troubleshooting procedures, enabled by the addition of new hotswappable drives in all servers. With hotswappable drives, technicians have the ability to move and remove hardware without completely removing the server from the rack. This saves time in disaster recovery situations, and allows for easier device troubleshooting.

The company claims that each cabinet in the their datacenter now also contains at least one fully-loaded standby system, so customers can be immediately re-located to another server in the event of hardware failure. This redundancy helps minimize any potential downtime.

“In our four year history, we have competed largely on our emphasis of offering updated and current technology,” said Deepak Kandhare, Gazzin.com Chief Technical Officer. “Today’s announcement is an example of our continued commitment to keeping our network above par and beyond industry standards. Our goal is not to merely keep up with our competitors. We want to stand out.”

“Our investment in redundancy is significant, but we realize the importance of rapid disaster recovery, especially for our customers whose Web sites are mission-critical,” added Kandhare.
