Moniker, an Oversee.net company and the a provider of domain asset management services, is bringing two live domain name auctions to T.R.A.F.F.I.C. West 2008 at The Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas.

The company declared that the premium domain name auction will be held on Wednesday, February 20 at 3:30 pm PT. This auction will feature more than 250 premium, marketable domain names. In Addition, it has also announced a special auction on Monday, February 18 at 8:30 pm PT, prior to the premium auction, specifically for domains with no reserve or low reserve prices. This auction will feature more than 50 domain names of various appraised values.

The company articulated that SnapNames Live, an integrated live and online auction platform developed by SnapNames, another Oversee.net company, will power online bidding at T.R.A.F.F.I.C. West 2008. The SnapNames Live system allows the auctioneer to simultaneously recognize bidders in the room and online; a video stream lets bidders and viewers follow the action via the Internet. The company avers that, it is their first auction powered by SnapNames Live since they joined the Oversee family in January.

The company claims that more than 80,000 domains were submitted for this auction, it will finalize selections for the two live auctions and a corresponding online auction, And only 3,000 premier domains will make the cut.
