(Webhosting.info) Company’s FCP to optimize voice over IP service for customers worldwide.
Internap Network Services Corporation, a provider of end-to-end Internet business solutions, today announced that Teliax has selected and deployed their Flow Control Platform to optimize the performance of its Voice over IP network services. The company states that being a provider of VoIP solutions for both homes and businesses, Teliax will improve network reliability and decrease latency with their route-optimization technology, resulting in improved quality-of-service and customer experience.
The company explained that it’s FCP provides network performance management and monitoring across multiple Internet connections. Without an FCP, Border Gateway Protocol is often the default routing mechanism. BGP routes data over statically defined connections, which frequently results in poor performance. It also avers that FCP’s approach, which demonstrates their leadership as an IP industry pioneer, proactively monitors network connections, analyzes performance and dynamically routes traffic for maximum performance and cost-effectiveness. Further it claims that FCP can improve performance at an average of 20-50 percent, thereby increasing end-user satisfaction.
“Teliax is enjoying significant, organic growth due to our superior customer service and sound quality,” said David Aldworth, president and chief executive officer of Teliax. “Internap’s FCP provides real-time monitoring, network intelligence and optimized routing across multiple Internet backbones. This significantly reduces network latency and enables Teliax to deliver a high-quality business and home VoIP telephone service at a competitive price.”
“Internap is a recognized leader in optimizing the performance and reliability of the global Internet,” said Tim Sullivan, chief technology officer at Internap. “Teliax’s innovative VoIP telephone solution is a great example of how Internap’s FCP can improve the quality and lower the cost of network-based services.”
