Internap Network Services Corporation, a provider of end-to-end Internet business solutions, today announced that Teliax has selected and deployed their Flow Control Platform to optimize the performance of its Voice over IP network services. The company explained that it’s FCP provides network performance management and monitoring across multiple Internet connections. Without an FCP, Border Gateway Protocol is often the default routing mechanism. BGP routes data over statically defined connections, which frequently results in poor performance. Further it claims that FCP can improve performance at an average of 20-50 percent, thereby increasing end-user satisfaction.
