The company articulated that the sheer volume of spam has soared in Australia, including widespread phishing scams purporting to come from Australian banks. The company explored several options and conducted a proof-of-concept trial with Cloudmark Authority. In the trials, Cloudmark stated that its Authority proved to be significantly more accurate in blocking messaging abuse, while generating fewer false positives than competitive solutions. Further, Cloudmark delivered a dramatic improvement in the company’s message processing performance, which reduced hardware requirements by up to 80 percent.
