(WebHosting.Info) Etelos, Inc., a provider of browser-based applications on the hosting environment, today announced AOP Beta a new technology that enables true data ubiquity and application portability beyond simple online and offline synchronization. IT states that any browser-based application from the their Marketplace enabled with these new technologies can exchange data swiftly and securely with any other AOP-enabled application, bringing collaboration in the workplace to new heights.
The company claims that it has filed multiple patent applications for technology that enables browser-based applications to function offline, reconcile changes made while offline, and synchronize data with any other AOP-enabled application when returning to the cloud. In addition, its AOP Beta is now available to users and developers.
“Etelos has created a platform-agnostic method for enabling truly distributed computing,” Etelos President & CEO Jeffrey L. Garon said. “It’s imperative that users have the freedom to choose the applications that will help them best build their business and run their lives and yet ensure the solutions are secure, easy to use and able to scale with them. Further, developers are empowered to build solutions that fit their customers’ needs and solve their problems on demand. Now they both can capitalize on any opportunity that surfaces.”
“It all started with a simple promise. For business users, you should be free to take your web app anywhere. For developers, you should be comfortable knowing that enabling AOP requires no code changes to your app,” Etelos Founder & CTO Danny Kolke said. “Being able to focus on productivity and functionality instead of bottlenecks is one of the cornerstones of Opportunity Computing. By not having to re-engineer an application, both developers and users can capitalize quickly on productivity opportunities.”
