(www.WebHosting.Info) Dotable.com, a community-based web hosting company, today announced that it has joined the UK-2 Group, a domain name registration and web hosting services provider. The company claims that its founder Robert Walker will remain in charge of Dotable.com as the General Manager while Nick Nelson, UK-2 Group’s U.S. director of sales and marketing will join the company as co-manager.
“I believe this decision strengthens Dotable in the marketplace, and pushes the Dotable brand forward. The UK-2 Group gives Dotable benefits in greatly increased buying power, increased staffing and the ability to pass on some amazing offers to our clients. The aim is to keep that friendly feel of Dotable, with the strength of a major company now behind us,” says Robert “Aussie Bob” Walker.
“Dotable.com has really captured a winning formula in the market and is a demonstration of the power of community in building a high quality company. We are going to insure that this situation remains intact and grows under the UK-2 umbrella,” says Nick Nelson.
“We are very pleased to invite Dotable and Bob into the UK-2group. I’ve always respected the setup and the sort of ‘family feel’ it has to it. Our main priority is not to mess that up in anyway, but to take all the good stuff that being a part of a group like ours can bring and make sure that all the original Dotable values and ideals are kept. We like the way Aussie Bob runs Dotable, and we want it to stay that way,” says Ditlev Bredahl, of the UK-2Group.
