January 25th, 2009

Digital Realty Trust, Inc., a manager and owner of corporate and internet gateway datacentres, today announced that it has completed a new Turn-Key Datacenter lease agreement with T-Systems, an information and communications technology company, to establish a new datacenter in its 2055 E. Technology Circle in Tempe, Arizona. The company states that this further expands its relationship with T-Systems, which has signed four prior Turn-Key Datacenter agreements with it.

It further adds that T-Systems is Deutsche Telekom’s enterprise customer unit and explains that multinational corporations and public institutions use the provider’s network-centric information and communications technology (ICT) services – ranging from datacenter operations and global services based on the Internet Protocol, to the development and management of applications. It claims that T-Systems serves all industries and is a provider for the automotive and telecommunications industries as well as the public sector.

”Digital Realty Trust offers customers a growing portfolio of outstanding facilities in key global markets, supported by an operational team with deep industry expertise. This new agreement with T-Systems is a great validation of our unique value proposition and our commitment to being a true partner to our customers,” said Chris Crosby, Senior Vice President at Digital Realty Trust. ”We look forward to continuing to support T-Systems’ business needs in our facilities as it expands its computing and networking infrastructure to support its growing global customer base.”
