December 15th, 2008

(www.WebHosting.InfoDotNetPanel, a Windows hosting control panel developer, today announced the release of DotNetPanel 2.8.1 and the new Hyper-V module for creating, managing, and selling VPS accounts. Nearly two months in beta, the company claims that hosting companies now have access to the Windows hosting control panel that uses Hyper-V technology.

The company claims that the Hyper-V module also complements existing offerings including Virtuozzo. Compared to Virtuozzo, the Hyper-V provides complete VPS isolation, guaranteed memory for each VPS, snapshots management, DVD media library, and networking management.

It adds that it offers free 30-day trials of the new Hyper-V module, giving hosting companies the opportunity to experience the benefits of using a solution for managing and automating VPS hosting services.

“Now that we are out of beta, hosting companies have a solid, reliable Windows hosting control panel for creating VPS accounts and managing business operations – all from one control panel,” said Feodor Fitsner, Director of DotNetPanel. “Our beta testers reported positive feedback on the new Hyper-V module describing its user-friendly features and the ability to sell VPS as part of their product offerings.”

“Our goal was to build a product to make it easy for hosting companies to provision VPS accounts and automate their business operations using Hyper-V VPS technology,” said Fitsner. “Hosting companies can create their own Virtual Data Center (VDC) in minutes for hosting, development, testing or demo purposes.”
